What about those of us who AREN'T Fathers? Who never had the chance to be, because Women find you ugly or unattractive & to boot, you don't make very much money.
What about US?
This day is discriminatory in how it makes us feel left out, Isolated & separated from the rest of society. As does Valentines, Christmas etc...

there will always be someone for everyone, don't speak in plural like that using the word "women", all you need is one "woman" that likes you and you like her

looks have little to do with it really too, it is what is inside and how you relate to each other that is more important

While I respect your opinion, & your entitlement to it, I find I must disagree.
I have spent 40 YEARS relying/hoping on the very adage you just referred to: "There is someone for everyone" & I have had to come to terms with the fact that this is in fact, NOT the case, but rather a Faint Hope clause in the contract of life. That is; a statement meant to placate, pacify & indeed - mislead a section of society in order to distract us from the awful truth. The idea being, I believe that if we WERE to know this truth from the get-go, many would see no point in existence & therefore commit various acts of Ant-Social behavior.
No, the truth is NOT pretty & I believe Don Henley summed up such delusional thinking with this line from: The End Of The Innocence:
"Happily ever after fails & we've been poisoned by these Fairy Tales."
A very profound statement I find that exposes the true contrast between what we are taught growing up, & what the world REALLY is in reality.

I think one needs to look inward and try to figure out what it is about themselves that is preventing the achievement of one's goals

many of the things could be unconcious

I know that where I am in life has alot more to do with myself than anything to do with anyone else

either that, or look inward and realize that one doesn't truly have the goal of being with someone else, as other things are more important to them, even if they don't realize it.... ie. perhaps an independent streak is of higher importance than compromise, etc. etc.... there are alot of reasons why somebody might deep down really want to be single, and yet they get themselves worrying about a fantasy of how the grass might be greener, when in reality they are living in their ideal way for themselves already

HINT most women do NOT find guys that enjoy posting photos of sh- in a toilet to be all that of a great catch!
Perhaps work on not being so crude and more women might become more attractive to you.
