As for the cut... you need to gun it at the bottom of the hill so you don't lose too much speed by the time you hit the top... I like to use the far right lane to pass people as well...
If people like you just stay in your lane and don't do anything silly then we will all be fine.
If you had a half decent car you wouldn't need to gun it at the bottom to make it up![ ] was that you that passed me going that fast!![:0][:0] I also am cautious on the mountain highway for that very reason!that poor man that got killed there about a month ago, from an idiot driver! I wouldn't want to own a house on that road,I could just see someone sailing straight into it,after missing the corner!
I used to drive a Hyunday Pony and a Ford Tempo... so I needed all the speed I could get (especially with the pony) otherwise I would be doing like 50kph at best near the top slowing everyone down... I don't live in North Van anymore, so you are safe for the time being... As for that part on Mountain Highway... it would be scary living there... the driveways that go onto the road have blind corners.. Note: I only speed up that part of the road following the racing line and usually stay in the left lane due to the hidden drive ways and blind corners... Also, I try to get some speed before I go up Hoskins... that hill is steep... I have a friend that lives on it and cars are always speeding up that hill...
