I don't think they actually keep 'files'...  What they will do is record what IP addy you post from, and cross reference your handles...

But let's be realistic here...  Most posters are just average joes, and not many outside of the forum circle would ever have much of an interest in people's lives...  Especially the lives of DV people...  I doubt half of them are even employable...
