uhmmm request of what??? C-sections? No, as much as he enjoyed the watching of surgery it was not by choice the first time around. Second time I chose c-section even though my doctor said I probably had no choice in the matter.

Actually no, that never occurred to me...but now that you mention it. Maybe he is leading a double life, its obviously mental so there is something going on there...unless he is on Prozac or something. Maybe he is just telling her that it happens with every girl...

I saw one in my prenatal class and they didn't take the uterus out but they did just leave the placenta on her stomach while everyone did their thing with the baby... I felt sorry for the poor woman.. had her baby ripped from her body and taken away and everyone just left her there for a few guts literally hanging out and the dad didn't seem to worry about anything but the baby either...

Maybe it was the placenta.

All I know is we were having a conversation while what I thought was her uterus was sitting on top of her.

I didn't even think about sex for a couple of hours after.

Carrie you hear the horror stories here but it's really not that bad... when you're ready and when you know you want a family there's lots of good stories to hear about... When my son was born the doctor put him on my chest and it just felt like time stopped.. he picked his head up and looked at me for half a second and his head dropped... My daughter had some complications but when I finally got to hold her she finally stopped crying... Laying with her on my chest and listening to her breath and I could hear nothing else... When my son was only 5 and my daughter only a couple weeks he wanted to hold her and she fell asleep on him and he just wanted to let her sleep... When he found out he had a little sister instead of a little brother his words to me were "That's ok mom I'll take her to kindergarten when she has to go so no ugly boys try to talk to her"... Kids are really amazing... Don't worry about a couple horror stories you hear... There's so many much better stories to hear..

Well my doctor tended to me and gave the baby to the nurses, then to my husband then to me to see. I don't know what was hanging out but everyone got wet when they broke my water. [Cheesy]

I think the anesthesiologist was hitting on me, he came around the curtain and said that I would be back to my normal weight in no time. He said you don't look like you gained much weight. Strange I thought.
