mg, so many, too many, make fun of the intelligence of others on sites and i ask why? how does one expand by that? i think only the ones who seek humiliation and/or pain upon others do that.

I like the philosophy of putting one's self in the shoes of the other person, and trying to understand why they are the way they are, and try to treat people as you would hope people would treat you

generally those that put other's down are doing so due to a self esteem issue of their own?

yeah, it is always good to consider those that were born into this world with less of the tools to get by then us, it's nice when we can all complement each other's skills and not have to take advantage of anyone as so many people do in this world

it seems that there are some that don't have the natural abilities as much but try way harder (in hockey players they call them the guys with alot of heart), then there are those blessed with superior natural abilities that don't try much at all

We currently have a poster like that on this forum, always trying to bring others down. Frankly, it's pathetic because you know they rely on that to feel better about themselves. I too would like to understand what goal they're trying to achieve in life.
