So what am I getting at... I don't remember, oh maybe what I'm trying to say is if you don't try you'll never know, so this league thing is silly. [^]

Yes but what I said makes total sense [^]

there is no such thing as a "league" in real life for the most part.

Dunno, it's a lot like DS, with just a few regular posters. Let's compare DV and DATW, shall we and figure out why DATW has a "slower pace" than DV.

First 20 posts on DV:
What is better lease or buy a car??
Women masturbating
I hurt all over- I need pain medication
buy sell nike jordan shoes and jeans clothes pum..
Question for you guys and gals
should i just kill myself?

NEW OAK ISLAND STONE TRIANGLE DECIPHERMENT
Canada Immigration - Modern Day Slave Trade

Rock 101 points

First 20 posts on DATW:
How flexible are you?

BEHOLD!!!!!!
Almost Long weekend! What are you doing?

Rock 101 points Ver. 2.0

radio points codes

Not much difference, hey?  I guess the reason DV is "fast paced" is coz it is easier to find it than DATW.  I think a lot of us found this forum only by email or checking the posts on DS or by chance on DV (before the posts were deleted).

Bruce would say there is no need to choose.
Dabble in both, take what is useful and flush the rest   =)
I've been very impressed with DATW btw. I think the mod(s) and users have built the foundations of something special.

Could it be because there's no handlejacking and one needs to "register" to post plus having to either log-in or enter the nickname and password for every post? I think that strategy would have solved a lot of the problems at DV, or maybe I'm wrong.  Anyhoo, interesting why the noobs over at DV did not do a long time ago what DATW did from the start.

Well yes, now two boards (DS & DATW) have been thrown together in a relatively short amount of time (pretty much overnight for DS) for peanuts, and both the boards put DV to shame in terms of capabilities. Is it because the DV admins are n00bs, or as some have postulated, that they actually prefer it to be a hotbed of chaos and ugliness? I lean towards the stupidity factor myself, but I could be wrong.

But don't worry, I hear DV registration is right around the corner.

Precisely. Too many DV types would start screwing up a debate when they could not win. Handlejacking like crazy, no-one knew who was who and the debates went down the toilet. Here they would have to get by on the strength of their argument and most could not do that
