Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum - found it while doing a search for StarFM codes (radio code thread).  I'm married, live in Chilliwack, and have 3 children (DD9, DS6, DS4).  Our middle son has Down syndrome and Celiac Disease so I'm always on the lookout for good deals on Gluten free foods in our area and recipes Smiley  I work fulltime in a Group Home for adults with disabilities and my husband is currently in school retraining after he was injured a while back - he used to be in finishing carpentry and is now training to be a computer geek - er professional Smiley  I grew up living in Surrey/Delta area and went to school in Langley so being in Chilliwack is quite the change for me - after we were married we lived in Edmonton for 10 years but moved here 4 years ago to be closer to my family and because the services for our son are way better in BC than Alberta. Nice to "meet" you all.

Welcome!
I noticed that you ended your post with your first name. Most here don't include real names... You can edit it, and remove it if you wanted to...
I often pop in here, and to the 2 other Vancouver Forums, mostly for radio codes, and also to post about "Possible Employment Opportunities" as well as the occasional Transit Information thread too... (22 years now in the transit field)
I grew up in south Delta, and continue to call that area home... Since 1972 actually...
Sounds like you have your hands full raising 3 kids, not to mention the "extras" dealing with medical and dietary needs...

Hope to read more replies/threads/posts from you!

This forum can have its "quiet" times, and then get busy all of a sudden...

www.mem*#$%.com is a little busier...

i just ran across this--

'''''There is a petition at Chilliwack's website to try to have Bill Henderson inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame (started by his friends and fans). It's an obscure site, and he has only garnered a few hundred votes after more than a year! If you think that he would be a? deserving recipient, PLEASE go to gonegonegone-dot-com and register your vote.''''''

I saw Bill Henderson sing solo at a tiny little theater in North Van a few years back.it was a fund raiser for the theatre. He was by himself with a few guitars.it was very cool.He was standing about 2 feet in front of me,I wasn't sure I knew much of his music at the time. Then he starts singing all these songs I did know as a kid.I became a chilliwack fan after that solo performance. I've since seen his band at the PNE. They are pretty good.
