what song are you listening to today? a new favorite? an old classic you've loved for years?

post a song, it can be a youtube video, or just a name if you want, only post one song per day though

curious what everyone is liking lately, or new discovery, maybe we'll find something new we haven't heard before that someone here suggests

feel free to comment on other's songs and or post lyrics or whatever

I'll go first, this is an old song, just after the punk craze, Siouxsie Sioux of Siouxsie and the Banshees

a song about the bad habit of smoking, Nicotine Stain

I like too many songs. I have a huge variety of music I like and listen to from heavy rock to something more laid back like this one

you did it right, except you left in too much, you need to get rid of the "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=" and just put the "FhNrrrCCTdA" in between the "youtubes"

How do you get the 'youtubes'?

you have to type them out

so type in the following with no spaces, and replacing the 'videocode' with the alphanumeric code for the video from the youtube address:

[ youtube]videocode[ /youtube]

notice that the first youtube has no "/" while the end one does have the "/"

the original 'chinagirl', put out about 5 yrs before bowie.  amazing how proper orchestrating, arranging and singing of a song makes the world of difference eh?

i'm not sure. i'm writing a song about her and it is quite good. i'm going to try to get her in the music video--we'll see. kinda like billy joel's 'uptown girl' with a different theme.

sounds like too much going on in that mix of the iggy pop version, too much going on that doesn't contribute to the melody

one a day per person is probably better, then we don't get information overload and then we will only post a real good one rather than a bunch, I'll look for one now

ya gf, i hear ya--nice tune. one thing i learned the hard way is that you can't live in the past for too long--it's just not healthy for the mind. we gotta move forward to bigger and better things gf Smiley
