Big Transit Re-Route off of HOWE Street March 11 & 12!

 Just reading up on the latest "Service Disruptions" over at www.translink.ca and they have had to re route all of the electric trolley buses off of Howe street all day March 11 & 12!!!
 If you are looking to catch a #4 UBC, #7 Dunbar, #10 Granville or a #16 Arbutus bus (The electric trolley buses) that have been using HOWE Street southbound, you have to either walk over to RICHARDS Street instead, OR Ride the diesel "#50 False Creek South" bus to 5th & Granville and then transfer to the trolley buses there...

how safe is it to ride transit these days ie. waiting for the bus, walking to the bus stop etc? are there any statistics as to rates of crime vs. total number of riders based on time of day?
